I wanted to get my GED® much sooner than I did, but I had a bunch of obstacles. I want to say it took about a year at least to finally finish. I really kicked into full gear once I got a job promotion and shortly after that I found out I was pregnant. I had been to as many classes as possible, but with the new job I had been slacking. To add to that I then had doctor's appointments and due to the appoint-ments I was moved to almost all night shifts at work. Prior to getting pregnant I was trying to get time to take the test. I passed three and failed one and then I lagged behind on science the worst of all. I was trying to make the classes and just went and winged it. I was so excited when I finally passed it.
